Checkweighing for packaged food
Check the weight of each pack as it moves through the line. Start with the product, required weight limits and conveyor arrangement to select a suitable checkweighing system.
Discuss your applicationWhat happens on the line?
The Wipotec EC-E weighs individual products during production, records results and rejects packs outside the configured limits. The result is a weight check at a defined point in your packaging process, with production data available for review.
- Present each pack with stable spacing
- Measure its weight on the weighing conveyor
- Separate packs outside the configured limits
What we need to assess your line
- Product and packaging type, including flexible or rigid packs
- Minimum, typical and maximum pack weight
- Pack length, width and height in the direction of travel
- Normal and maximum line output, plus product spacing
- Required weight tolerances and reporting requirements
- Conveyor height, available space and cleaning conditions
A pack or product sample, layout drawing and short line video will help us review the installation.

Common questions
Can one machine handle several pack sizes?
Share the full size and weight range. Conveyor dimensions, transfer points and recipe changes must be assessed against every planned format.
How is accuracy confirmed?
Agree the required performance and a test plan using representative packs at the intended line speed. Do not select a machine from throughput alone.
